ACSM Supervisor Bev Paulin

Bev Paulin

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC™) with the International Coach Federation, accredited Coaching Supervisor, and Registered Psychologist. I have extensive experience working with coaches from diverse contexts and cultures especially across Australia, South East and North Asia, China, and India.

What are the stories that influence your practice? I enjoy working with coaches to explore their narratives, the ways in which they make sense of their work, and how they continue to expand and grow their capacity to meet the hopes, challenges and complexity found within their practice.

I am interested in how supervision can support coaches to expand their perspectives, deepen or evolve their practice, or attend to their presence, purpose, and well-being.

Her background

Change, transition, presence, and purpose have been the unifying themes of my coaching and OD practice with individuals, teams and organisations over more than two decades.

The DNA of my practice was irrevocably changed through a 14-year cultural immersion in Asia. This experience continues to cultivate a deep curiosity about coaching and coaching supervision as global and diverse practices. It is the inspiration behind my doctoral research, and commitment to diverse and inclusive research and practice.

My practice spans the development and supervision of coaches, career and leadership coaching, and talent and organisational development. I have led coaching practices and communities of leadership and career coaches across the Asia Pacific. These roles included responsibilities for coaching quality, coach supervision, and the development of individual and collective coaching practice.

I have coached early career professionals through to senior executives from around the world and diverse industry sectors.

Supervision with Bev

As a Supervisor, I am committed to supporting coaches grow into and through their practice, and to strengthen the conscious use of self in their work. I offer both individual and group supervision.

My approach is informed by reflective practice, relational presence, narrative practices, and theories of human development.

I hold a deep interest in adult development, and how coaches embrace the energy, uncertainty and complexity of practice and explore the edges of their own development.
